chuck palahniuk

this book uses the story of its main character primarily as a vehicle for palahniuk to present and push a worldview. the worldview presented is similar in many ways to that presented in fight club (the movie: i haven’t read the book, yet). i don’t necessarily agree with what palahniuk says, but at least he’s willing to say it.
